Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
When time and experience matter, trust Lakeview Emergency Medical Services
Lakeview EMS cares for more than 125,000 people in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We’re proud of our award-winning history and continuing commitment to the best emergency medicine.
Our team has over 40 paramedics and operates five ambulances. In 2019, we answered more than 8,500 calls for help. Many of our full-time paramedics are certified as critical care paramedics, completing rigorous continuing education in addition to regular EMS calls.
It’s our privilege to serve the places where we live and work. To help our communities grow safer and healthier, we provide several EMS training and learning courses to government organizations, businesses, community groups and more.
Whether you see us for a class or for medical assistance, our paramedics are dedicated to helping you get expert care that makes a difference.
Lakeview EMS began in 1984 as a basic life support ambulance service. We were the first basic service in the metro area to carry and use cardiac monitoring and defibrillation equipment. We also helped pioneer cell phone technology use in EMS.
Over the years, we’ve expanded to provide advanced life support and serve more and more hospitals and communities. As our capabilities have grown, so too has our drive to continue building our expertise.
Today, we offer innovative, technologically advanced solutions that meet and exceed the needs of our neighbors. We have built a strong working relationship with our partners in the Lakeview Emergency Center, and we serve over 350 square miles in eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, including Stillwater, Hudson, Lake Elmo, North St. Paul and surrounding communities.
Through EMS care, classes, courses, education and stewardship, we look forward to providing the highest quality medical support to everyone we meet.
