The Mental Health Center at Regions Hospital

At Regions, we believe that mental health is as important to your overall well-being as physical health. We are working to remove the stigma that surrounds mental illness so everyone can get the treatment they need.

The Mental Health Center at Regions Hospital is a leader in mental health hospital care. We are one of the largest providers of adult inpatient mental health services in the east metro and have a modern, comfortable mental health facility where you’ll find the latest treatments. Our team is made up of psychiatrists, psychiatric physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, mental health associates, occupational therapists, social workers and more. We’ll provide whatever level of support you need throughout your recovery.

If you’re experiencing a mental health emergency, call the national Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.

Our mental health center services

You don’t need to face life’s challenges alone. We offer mental health treatments for those in crisis who are struggling with mental health conditions. We provide a safe environment where you can get back to your best self. Our mental health services include:

Inpatient mental health care treatment

We’re one of the largest providers of adult inpatient mental health services in the east metro, with 120 inpatient beds in private rooms. We can provide personalized inpatient mental health care for all your mental health needs, no matter how complex.

Our inpatient program is designed to care for you during a mental health crisis. Your safety, privacy and healing are important while you’re here. You’ll have many comforts and resources to help you focus on getting well at our mental health treatment center.

Partial hospitalization program

When you need help coping with life’s stresses, we’re here for you. DayBridge, our partial hospitalization program for adults, offers intensive therapy during the day. In this program, you’ll have five hours of treatment a day, Monday through Friday. You’ll have daily structured group sessions and opportunities for one-on-one sessions with our care team, depending on your specific needs.

DayBridge is a good fit for adults 18 years and older who need intensive therapy and can safely live at home with the support of family and friends. Most of the people we work with have been referred after completing a hospital stay or have mental health symptoms that require a higher level of care than one-on-one therapy.

HeroCare

You’ve taken care of our country – now let us take care of you. HeroCare connects veterans, members of the military and their families to mental health services and medical resources specific to their needs.

Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing services

If you’re deaf, deafblind or hard of hearing, you’ll receive mental health services and work with our team trained in American Sign Language. We offer comprehensive services through a grant from the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Learn more about our deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing services.
