Prepare for a Stay
We know there’s a lot that goes into the decision to seek treatment. Knowing how to prepare for you or your loved one to stay at Melrose can help.
When you enter Melrose Center, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful, safe environment that fosters trust and promotes healing. We provide the following amenities to help make your time with us as comfortable as possible:
We have many inviting common areas throughout the center with comfortable seating and lots of natural light. Some have fireplaces and other touches to help you feel comfortable, including a piano you can play.
We have two tranquil spaces where you can spend time outside. Our healing garden provides walking paths, a soothing fountain and ample seating with space for therapy sessions. Our deck faces Bass Lake Preserve so you can soak up nature while relaxing.
Washers and dryers are available to all residential patients at no charge. Detergent is provided.
We provide cardio and strength equipment in our Physical Awareness and Rehabilitation Center (PARC) so you can work with fitness specialists and physical therapists to create balanced exercise routines.
Mel’s Café offers balanced meals and healthy grab-and-go snacks for patients and their guests.
We’re part of the St. Louis Park school district and provide instructor-led classes throughout the schoolyear in our dedicated schoolroom.
Our on-site chapel provides private space for prayer and spiritual reflection.
