  • Spiritual care – Patients and their families often find comfort in the guidance of a trained spiritual supporter. At Hudson Hospital & Clinic, we’re not affiliated with any one faith. Instead, we try to meet the spiritual and religious preferences of all our patients. Our Meditation Room is available 24/7 for patients, families and staff to find solace in a quiet, peaceful space. This room provides resources for spiritual care, and holds various inspirational books, including the Bible and non-denominational meditation literature. To talk with someone about your spiritual needs, please ask your care team or contact our patient representative at 715-531-6191.

Registration information

Preregistration

For your convenience, you can preregister for your clinic appointment or hospital admission. This will help reduce the time it takes to check in when you arrive. To preregister, call Hudson Hospital & Clinic at 715-531-6000 or toll free at 800-993-2325 and ask for registration.

Registration when you arrive

It’s a good idea to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete the registration process. Check in at the information desk when you arrive at the hospital. We’ll then help you find the proper department for your appointment.

During the registration process, we’ll ask you questions to help us gather the information necessary for patient identification, medical record accuracy, and correct and efficient billing.

We’ll also collect or update patient demographic information, have you sign required forms, scan your driver’s license, insurance cards and other documents, and collect any co-pays that are due. You can rest assured that we hold all personal information in the strictest confidence.

Swing bed program

After a hospital stay, you may feel more than ready to return home – but in some situations, additional care is needed. In cases like these, the swing bed program at Hudson Hospital & Clinic provides a smooth transition between receiving care in the hospital and returning home, combining round-the-clock hospital-level care with familiar comforts.

In the swing bed program, our patients remain in a hospital setting and receive rehabilitative and nursing care that focuses on continuous recovery from injury, illness or surgery. Through treatment plans tailored to your unique situation, we’ll help you prepare to leave the hospital feeling confident and empowered.

Quality care and patient safety

We work hard to create a healing environment where your medical care and safety are our top priority. We continuously network with nationwide hospitals, regulatory agencies and patient safety organizations to share information on the most current and best safety practices in health care delivery.

Hudson Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, an agency that serves to help ensure and monitor the quality and safety of patient care. Our quality information is also reported to the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Checkpoint. Checkpoint’s mission is to develop consumer-focused initiatives that will provide reliable, valid measures of health care in Wisconsin to aid the selection of quality health care and quality improvement activities within the hospital field.

Please note: If you are a patient and have a concern about patient care and safety that has not been addressed, please contact a patient representative at Hudson Hospital & Clinic at 715-531-6191. If concerns cannot be resolved, individuals are encouraged to contact The Joint Commission at One Renaissance Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181.

We are committed to a safe, respectful and healing environment.

We do not allow threats, aggression, abuse, harassment or discrimination toward anyone for any reason. We will take action to ensure the safety of all patients, staff and guests.
